The Australian Standard AS -1288 governs the requirement of all Glazing work installed within Australia. These codes are evaluated on a regular basis to minimise hazards associated with the glazing industry.
It is important to note that the responsibility of meeting these glazing standards rests with the owner of the building. In the event that an accident should occur and these standards were breached, the owner of the property would be liable for any damages.
All glass and aluminium supplied and installed by Magic Glass complies with Australian Standard 2208 (As referenced in the Building Code of Australia per BCA Amendment 7) and is checked for compliance prior to cutting and/or installation. All glazing work undertaken by Magic Glass complies with Australian Standard 1288 Glass in Buildings.
