The Challenge
This residential project required the replacement of all glass panels across a 70-unit apartment complex to improve energy efficiency and sound within the building. Our client overlooked the project to assist in scheduling access with the residents. Magic Glass was involved with removing and installing approximately 1600 glass panels which included all sliding doors and windows throughout the complex.
The Solution
Magic Glass successfully completed all glazing works for the project. Our team replaced standard clear 6.38 glass that was initially installed into the building with custom-made 10.38 low-e glass, allowing for less sound pollution and greater thermal control within each unit. Being a sizeable project, our team had to obtain sufficient access to each unit in order to ensure each individual panel was measured to the correct size.
